Overview:

Manage the quality and continuous improvement process for Paterson's manufacturing plant. This involves the development, implementation and preservation of the Quality System. The major objective will be to improve the people and processes to remove cost from the system and to improve our product quality to support the goals of the company.

Duties:

- Plans and oversee the analysis, inspection, design, test and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component;

- Develops & initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation;

- Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures;

- Designs & implement quality training programs to key personnel;

- Evaluates and resolves customer issues, tracks and responds to customer complaints.

- Responsible for the execution of an effective closed-loop quality system driven to reduce process variation;

- Acts as a change agent to drive continuous improvement of the production and service processes to improve quality and increase production;

- Implements product quality plans and procedures by overseeing inspection testing requirements, frequency, responsibility, and methods to assure compliance to process and product specs.

- Assist in the management of maintaining a GMP certification; Knowledge of HACCP a plus.

- Supplies customers with required certification documents. (COA)

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in a related field; or 5 plus years’ experience in a Quality/Continuous Improvement related field or equivalent combination;

- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

- Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus

- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment

- Able to lead Kaizen events

- Strong verbal and written communication skills;

- Strong knowledge of MS Office

- Experience in implementation of technical testing in a production environment

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
